    Notice LUTON RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That on the 10th day of April, 1912, or on such other day to be hereafter fixed application will be made to His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace assembled at Quarter Sessions in and for the County of Bedford at the Shire Hall Bedford for an Order for the stopping up as useless and unnecessary and (in view of the proposed substituted footpath to be made as hereinafter referred to) diversion of a portion of a certain footpath or public highway situated in the PARISH OF LIMBURY in the County of Bedford leading from Biscot Road Luton in a Northerly direction to the Biscot Mill and Biscot which part to be stopped up and diverted commences at the junction of the footpath with the Boundary of the Borough of the Borough of Luton and traverses land the property of Francis Crawley Esquire in a North-Westerly direction to the Mill and which said path covers a distance of 97 yards AND in lieu of this footpath so to be stopped up as aforesaid a new footpath or public highway to be made leading out of the said footpath at the Borough Boundary and extending in a Westerly direction to its junction with a proposed continuation of Biscot Road within the Borough of Luton and thence in a Northerly direction to the Mill which said footpath covers a distance of 128 yards and that the certificate of two Justices having viewed the said footpath and proof being given to their satisfaction of the several notices required by the Statute having been published with the plan of the old footpath and the proposed new footpath will be lodged with the Clerk of the Peace for the said County on the 31st day of January, 1912.
