    'That having heard that a sack of wheat had been stolen from Mr Willis's premises at Furzen Hall Farm and understanding that the prisoner Edward Albone had a large quantity in his possession which I suspected to have been stolen on Tuesday the 29th of April last I searched the house of the prisoner where I found two sacks of wheat one containing about two bushels and the other about one bushel both parcels were mix'd with a small quantity of barley - I immediately removed both sacks and lock'd them up in a bedroom at my own house - I afterwards gave back to the prisoner the sack containing the larger quantity the other sack with the corn in it is that which I now produce and which has ever since been in my possession lock'd up.'
