    Presentment by the homage that Edmund Garner, late a customary tenant of the manor, in his lifetime held to him and his heirs of the Lord of the Manor, a piece or parcel of land in Town Field as in Z 590/2(a) upon which Edmund Garner had in his lifetime erected and built several cottages or tenements; that Edmund Garner had sometime since died having made a will (probate granted at the Peculiar Court of Biggleswade, 19 May 1830) in which he devised (amongst others) to his son Nathaniel Garner and his heirs: a)cottage or tenement with appurtenances in the occupation of John Huckle. Admission of Nathaniel Garner to (a). Habendum: to Nathaniel Garner, his heirs and assigns for ever etc. according to the tenor of the will, of the Lord of the Manor etc. Rent by apportionment: 1/4d. Fine: 1/3 of a farthing. Fealty: respited. Dorse; pencilled annotation (and second illegible annotation) ‘This wd. seem to be.....cottage [?]’
