    Presentment by the homage that Edmund Garner (see also Z 590/8), late a customary tenant of the manor who in his lifetime held to him and his heirs according to the custom of the manor divers messuages, cottages or tenements in the town within the manor and parish of Biggleswade and sometime since died seised thereof having made his will in which, amongst other devises, he devised to his son Henry and his heirs: a) cottage or tenement then in the occupation of John Beaumont with appurtenances as in Z590/13 (a) to his son-in-law Jesse Rhodes for life, remainder to Henry and his heirs for ever. b) cottage or tenement with appurtenances then in the occupation of Edward Fair as in Z 590/13(b). ...and that Jesse Rhodes has since died leaving Henry Garner surviving him. Admission of Henry Garner to (a) and (b) as above. Habendum: to Henry Garner, his heirs and assigns of the Lord of the Manor etc. Yearly Rent: 1½d. Fine for his estate and entry in the premises: ½d. Fealty: respited.
