- Scope and Contentmarriage lately had between William Beaumont and Lucy, previous to which a settlement of certain premises had been made [V166] now: Lucy Taylor and William Beaumont convey to William Rolfe -- premises [A] (now in the occupation of Thomas Page) and [B] as in V174 -- other lands of said Nathaniel Taylor deceased now of Lucy Taylor and William Beaumont in Clifton (except 2 acres arable in Hoe Field, Clifton, late in the occupation of William Pateman, now of John Conquest, which came to said Nathaniel Taylor deceased on the death of his aunt Elizabeth Taylor, widow) on trusts . . . Witnesses: Thomas R. Rayment, William Cox clerk to Mr. Rayment. endorsed: All the writings belonging to the within estate with the other part of this settlement are in the hands of Mr. Rolfe the trustee.
