    consideration: £1. 1s paid and further £2,098.19s.0d. to be paid William Beaumont will before 1 December next convey to James Hesse (free from incumbrances except the life estate of Mrs. Lucy Taylor widow in part of the premises, settled on her by V185-186) -- all the freehold messuages, lands etc. of William Beaumont in Clifton, Henlow or Southill, purchased by him of William Brown [see V243] and now in the occupations of William Beaumont, Samuel Thurgood, James Stevens, widow Lockey and Thomas Cook. -- freehold messuages, lands etc. of William Beaumont in Clifton, late purchased by him of William Ringstead [see V223] and now in the occupation of William Beaumont -- reversion expectant immediately after decease of said Lucy Taylor in messuages, lands etc. in Clifton, Southill and Stanford, mentioned in V186. William Beaumont will not hereafter fell or lop trees on said premises James Hesse will after the execution of the conveyance pay William Beaumont £898. 19s. and will secure payment of remainder of consideration by bond to be executed by James Hesse and Solomon Hesse his father in penalty of £2,400, conditioned for payment of £1,200 with interest at 4½ % per annum payable 6 months after 10 October next.
