- Scope and ContentCounty of Bedford, Petty Sessional Division of Luton, to wit} We the undersigned two of his majesty’s Justices of the Peace of and for The County of Bedford acting in and for the petty sessional division of Luton, do hereby certify that we have this day viewed and surveyed a certain new highway within the said division, namely a new public footway in the Parish of Stopsley commencing Hitchin Road at the point “B” on the plan hereinafter mentioned and proceeding to the point “A” on the said plan and the position of which said intended new public highway is coloured Green on the said plan which said new highway was at the general quarter sessions of the peaceholden in and for the said County of Bedford on the 5th day of January 1921 ordered to be set out and appropriated for use as a public footway in lieu of a certain other highway then ordered to be turned diverted and stopped up and which said new highway is delineated upon the plan referred to in our certified dated the 29th day of November 1920, and lodged with the clerk of the Peace for the said County and ordered on the said 5th day of January 1921 to be enrolled by him amongst the records of the court of quarter sessions. AND we do Hereby Certify that the said new highway, being a public footway has been so set out and appropriated as ordered and is now completed and put into good condition and repair.
