Luton Rural District. Council Parish of Stopsley. Notice is hereby Given That on the fifth day of January 1921 application will be made to His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace assembled in Quarter Sessions in and for the County of Bedford at Bedford: - 1. For an Order for diverting and stopping up entirely the Public Highway or Footpath in the Parish of Stopsley leading from Hitchen Road near the “Sportsman” Public House at the Point C on the plan to the Public Highway or Footpath leading to Butterfields Green at the point A on the said plan and by a branch from the point R on the said plan to the Footpath at the point D on the said plan and that in lieu of the said Highway so to be stopped up and diverted a new Public Highway or Footpath be provided commencing at the point C on the said plan to and along Venetia Road and Lothair Road to the junction of the latter road with Hitchin Road at the point N on the said plan and by a branch from Lothair Road to the point D on the said plan and by a branch from Lothair Road to point P on the said plan. 2. For an Order for diverting and stopping up entirely the Public Highway or Footpath leading from the point Q on the said plan to the point R on the said plan and that in lieu of the said Highway or footpath so to be stopped up and diverted a new Public Highway or Footpath be provided leading from the point Q on the said plan to Lothair Road at the point M on the said plan. 3. For an Order for diverting and stopping up entirely the Public Highway or Footpath leading from the point O on the said plan to the point A on the said plan and by branch to the point S on the said plan and that in lieu of the said Highway or Footpath so to be stopped up and diverted a new |Public Highway or Footpath be provided leading from Hitchin Road at the point B on the said plan to the point A on the said plan and that the Certificate of two Justices having viewed the said Public Highways or Footpaths so proposed to be stopped up and the line of the said Footpaths so proposed to be made and that such new Highways or Footpaths will be properly made with clinker and will nearer more commodious and convenient that the present Highways or Footpaths so proposed to be stopped up and diverted together with the proof of due publication of the several notices required by the Statue in that case made and provided and that the plan of the land and the proposed new Highways or Footpaths will be lodged with the Clerk of the Peace of the said County on or before the Fourth Day of December 1920.
