    QSR1920/3/10/1f I, Andrew Brander alexander of the School House, Goldington in the Parish of Goldington, Schoolmaster, do solemnly and sincerely declare as follows: - (1) That I am Clerk of the Parish Council of Goldington in the County of Bedford. (2) I was present at the meeting of my Parish Council duly convened and held on the 14th day of January 1920 when the following resolutions were duly passed: - “That this Parish Council consents to a Declaration being obtained by the Local Authorities affected, that the portion of the old public highway leading along the northern bank of the River Ouse there from Newnham Road to Newnham, situated in the Parish of Goldington and Rural District of Bedford, the situation of which Road is shown upon the plan submitted to this meeting and is thereon coloured red, should be stopped up as being unnecessary for public use and not repairable at the public expense.” “That public notice of this our resolution be given in the following manner, that is to say, by posting the same on the Parish Notice Board at Goldington.” “That a meeting to confirm Resolution (1) be held on the 18th day of March 1920.” (3) Due public notice in conformity in all respect with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1894 was given and published. (4) I was present at a meeting of the said Parish Council duly convened and held on the 18th day of March 1920 at which the following resolution was passed: - “Now we the said Parish Council do hereby confirm our resolution passed at our meeting on the 14th day of January instant with a reference to the proposed stopping up of the highway in the last named resolution” AND I make this solemn declaration sincerely believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835. Declared at Bedford in the county of Bedford this 15th day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty.
