    I, WALTER GEORGE DANIELS of 115 High Street, Bedford, clerk to the Bedford Rural district Council do solemnly and sincerely declare as follows: (1) That I am clerk of the Rural District Council of Bedford in the County of Bedford, and a district which embraces the whole of the Parish of Goldington in the said County. (2) That the said District Council is the Urban Sanitary Authority under the Public Health Act 1875 of the said District and is therefore constituted the Surveyor of Highways for the said District. (3) I was present at a Meeting of the Council duly convened and held on the 30th day of December 1919, when the following resolution was duly passed: - “That it is expedient that so much of the old public highway leading along the northern bank of the River Ouse there from Newnham Road Newnham as is situated in the Parish of Goldington and Rural District of Bedford in the County of Bedford the situation of which is shown upon the plan submitted to us as being unnecessary and that application be made to two Justices to view the same” AND I make this solemn declaration sincerely believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Statutory Declaration Act 1835.
