Before the Court of Summary Jurisdiction sitting at the Court House Luton, on 3rd April 1915 Harry(Henry) Mardle is convicted that he on 27th March 1915 at the borough of Luton, Unlawfully did assault Arthur Clark being then one of the Constables for the Borough of Luton & being then & there in the execution of his duty. It is adjudged that the defendant be imprisoned at St Albans & kept at Hard Labour for 4 months Signed W R Phillips Justuce for the Peace for the Borough.
