Report of Probation Officer that Offender has failed to keep conditions of his reconziance

To Bedfordshire Quareter Sessions, I the undersigned Probation officer for the Borough of Luton hereby report that Henry (Harry) Mardle of 60 Windsor Road Luton placed under my supervision by order dated 7th October [1915] 1914 has failed to keep the conditions of his recognizance, viz:- The Condition. On Probation for 12 months under £10 bond to be of good behaviour& abstain from intoxicants for 12 months, He was today convicted & sentenced by Luton Boro Petty Sessions Court for 1 month Hard Labour for assaulting & beating his wife, & 4 months Harb Labour for assaulting Police Sergeant Arthur Clark while executing his duty.
