Dear Sir, A man, one Henry (Harry) Mardle, 60 Windsor Street Luton was before the Michaelmas Quarter Sessions Charged with stealing £4.15.0 he was placed under my care by the Chairman of the Sessions as follows; On probation for 12 months under £10 bond, also to abstain for intoxicants for the same period to report monthly to myself. He was today charged before out Petty Sessional Court under 3 fresh charges; wilful damage to house, assaulting his wife, assaulting a Police Sergeant (through drink) He is remanded till our Saturday Court under custody, will you kindly let me know before Saturday what steps you wish me to take regarding the breaking of his bond, should the conviction be proved.
