    To wife Sarah all household goods for life and on death to be divided amongst children as she shall direct. Residue of goods (except those mentioned in deed of settlement below) to Richard Chester of Cannon Street London, skinner and Richard Brown of Luton, mealman, in trust that they, together with executors may value stock in trade and personal estate and permit wife to use it provided she enters into a bond of the net sum of the valuation, to enjoy them as long as she carries on the trade and remains unmarried; if she chooses to leave off trade, sum of the valuation is to be called in and placed on securities interest of which to go to wife for life or as long as she remains unmarried; on her death or remarriage the same to be divided amongst children at age of 21 or if dead, to brother Richard How recites: V356 now trustees Chester and Brown to pay wife £50 per annum in full satisfaction of her settlement. recites: will of Mariabella Briggins (as in V392) Briggins How has since had occasion for £1,800 and requested Zachary and Eliot to invest the £2,000 on the security of the above mentioned premises recites: V388 devises messuage and lands contained in above and all other estates in Aspley Guise to trustees (Chester and Brown) on trust to sell and pay the £1,800 to Zachary and Eliot; invest remainder for maintenance of said children paying each his share of principal at 21. £10 to Hogsty End Meeting £10 each to trustees trustees and wife Sarah appointed guardians of children brother Richard How and wife Sarah executors.
