- Scope and ContentThese are to Certify that at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King, holden at Derby, in and for the said County of Derby, on Friday the 10th of January 1908. William John Kendrick alias William Henry Fowler was in due form of Law tried and convicted upon his own confession upon a certain Indictment against him for that he on the13th December 1907 feloniously did steal, take and carry away one bicycle the good and chattels of one Albert Booth at Belper. Also for that he on 11th day of December in the year of our Lord 1907 feloniously did steal take and carry away a bicycle the property of Charles Albert Wood at Chesterfield and was thereupon ordered by the Court to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the space of three years Penal Servitude (Concurrent) and which conviction still remains force and virtue. Given under my Hand this 7th day of December 1910 Clerk of the Peace for the County of Derby
