Herbert Woodcock (18 years, Gardener): For Trial – On 22nd October, 1910, at Stopsley, feloniously breaking and entering the dwelling house of Stewart Butler Hubbard, and stealing therein three gold rings, 4s 8d. in money, one coat, and one pair boots, the property of the said Stewart Butler Hubbard. Eleven previous convictions mentioned. Herbert Woodcock: Not recommended for Borstal Treatment. Has been in Reformatory and discharged therefrom as being of weak intellect. Signed -T Sewell Governor of the Prison Arthur Lewis (39 years, Labourer): Between 27th October and 3rd November 1910 at Luton, stealing two coats, value three pounds the property of Henry James Sweeny. Also, on 31st October 1910 at Luton, breaking and entering the dwelling house of Annie Flecknell, and stealing therein a clock, the property of Mary Medhurst. Six previous convictions mentioned. One alias as Arthur Louis Griffiths John Lee (38 years, Labourer): On 21st November 1910, at Luton, stealing a pair of trousers, value 6s. 6d. the property of Harry Strange.
