    Recites: Will of Edwin Denbigh 26 March 1719 RO2/98-100 Recites: Deed Poll 10 March 1734 Assignment (i) Stephen Woodifield senior (ii) Denbigh Woodifield, Robert Woodifield, John Woodifield, Stephen Wodifield, William Woodifield; the five sons of said Stephen Woodifield - all share and claim of (i) on estate of Edwin Denbigh deceasd which he left to his daughter Ann Woodifield, who settled it on (i) her husband Whereas: Denbigh Woodifield is dead; by will dated 19 June 1729 appointed said Stephen Woodifield, his father, sole executor and residuary legatee said legacy of £30 bequeathed to Susan was paid and annuity of £30 per annum to testator's wife Ann was paid to her death in 1739. Recites: RO2/105 Whereas John Crouch and Edward Bigg found that the quitrent of £1..10s issueing out of the manor and lands exceeded the quitrents payable to them in respect of the said manor; they consented to make an abatement of the sum of £10..15s out of the purchase money of the said manor according to the said Articles Recites: RO2/106-8 Whereas: disputes have arisen between Stephen Woodifield the father and Robert, John, Stephen and William his sons concerning a moiety of the remainder arising from the sale of the aforesaid premises, as devised by the will of said Edwin Denbigh now: agree that after payment of £600 to Susan Denbigh, expenses of Crouch and Bigg and all claims out of said premises, moiety of remainder shall be paid to ii) on trust to discharge £100 + interest due to William Bunbury on mortgage and to pay Stephen Woodifield the father £105, then lay out residue as follows: ¼ part each to said Robert, John, Stephen and William Woodifield the sons Signatures: Stephen Woodifield, Robert Woodifield, John Woodifield, ii) Witnesses: Thomas Musson, Hayford Wainewright, Daniel Wright memorandum: pinned to 2nd page, noting difference in order of recitals in this deed and an ingrossement of it noticed when the 2 were examined together in the Rolls Coffee House in Chancery Lane Endorsement: In Chancery, between John Crouch and others and Ann Baroness Dowager of Gowran and others this Indenture was produced to Thomas Musson, gentleman, at his examination in the cause 19 January 1741/2 before : Goddard Urlin, Henry Horton, William Aveling
