Recital of mortgage of same land on 24 March, 1728/9 between (a) Edward Rudd grandfather (b) John Wetcham Esq. £2500. Recital of Endorsement on first recited mortgage of 31 October 1729, an assignment by John Geary (executor of Joan Phipp, widow deceased, executrix of N. Phipp deceased.) of same land to James Metcalf in trust for John Whetcham. Recital of Assignment of 2nd. recital. Mortgage on 19 September, 1735 between (a) Whetcham and William Metcalf Esq. (executor of James Metcalf dec'd.) (b) Edward Rudd grandfather (c) Robert Jenkyn Esq. £2500. Recites for further £1,000 Edward Rudd grandfather mortgaged same lands to R. Jenkyn for £3500. Recital of assignment of 28 November, 1767 of same lands between (a) Sir Thomas Stanhope (b) Edward Rudd grandson & executor of Edward Rudd (above) dec'd. (c) Robert Thurgood, Brewer. £4500. Recites Robert Thurgood died January, 1775 - joint executors of will, Sarah Clutterbuck, John Thurgood, and Thomas Barns. Recites all executors now dead. Recites in part of will of Thomas Barns of 27 July, 1793. Recital of AD2983 Recites Edward Rudd grandson died 1797.
