    James Anniwell of Bedford in the County of Bedford Superintendent of Police acknowledges himself to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King, in the Sum of £5. The condition of the Recognizance is such that if Emma Jane Maxey of 39 Pilcroft Street Bedford shall personally appear at the next Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held at the Shire Hall at Bedford in and for the County of Bedford on the (Left blank) day of (Left Blank) One thousand nine hundred and eleven and then and there five evidence in His Majesty’s behalf against George Darnwell and not depart the Court without leave, then this Recognizance to be void, otherwise to remain in full. Taken and acknowledged the 28th day of July One thousand nine hundred and eleven at the Shire Hall at Bedford in the said county of Bedford before me, the undersigned, one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace in and for the said County.
