    James Anniwell of Bedford in the County of Bedford Superintendent of Police acknowledge himself bound to our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of £10 Herbert Henry Tysoe of 15 Green Hill Street Bedford acknowledge himself to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of £5 William Green of 50 Howbury Street Bedford acknowledge himself to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of £5 Joseph Henry Moore of 41 Salisbury Street Bedford (Police Constable) acknowledge himself to be indebted to our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of £5 The Condition of the Recognizance is such that if the above-bounden several Persons shall personally appear at the next Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held at the Shire Hall at Bedford in and for the County of Bedford on the (left blank) day of (left blank) One thousand nine and eleven and then and there the said James Anniwell prefer a Bill of Indictment, and prosecute the Law with effect, and the said several other Persons give Evidence in His Majesty’s behalf against George Darnell and not depart the Court leave, then this Recognizance to be void, otherwise to remain in full force. Taken and acknowledged the 28th day of July One thousand nine hundred and eleven at the Shire Hall at Bedford in the said county of Bedford before me, the undersigned, one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace in and for the said County.
