According to the Bedfordshire Times image 22 July 1932, in the centre of the group is Richard Ormonde Shuttleworth with his mother, Dorothy Shuttleworth, and sister, Anne Campbell beside him. The Lord Lieutenant, Samuel Howard Whitbread, and his wife, Madeline Whitbread, are standing at the back. Sitting on the steps at the front is Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey. The article further notes further of attendees at the event but not the remainder of individuals in the photo.
