Examinations & depositions - Information of Dan. Purton, Leighton Buzzard, labr; was in the Black Horse when parties as in 339 challenged one another to fight. The constable came in and took John Brandom into custody but his brother and several others attempted to rescue him; Sarah Adams 'was in the house a pushing the constable and endeavouring to get John Brandom away'.
