I beg to acknowledge with thanks receipt of your cheque value £6/-/- for rent re the above charity, and herewith enclose receipt for same. Mr Measures is reminded that there is however another quarter due July 6th. And he explains that these monies are distributued amongst a certain number of poor old people immediately they are received, so that he will follow there is no balance in hand. The Chairman needs to collect these rents as they fall due in order for these people to receive their dole up to date. He shall be glad therefore if Mr Measures will let him have a further cheque for rent due as stated and oblige.
