Byelaws to prohibit the consumption of intoxicating liquor in designated places in Bedford made by Bedford Borough Council under section 235 of the Local Government Act 1972 for the good rule and government of the Borough of Bedford and for the prevention and suppression of nuisances and under section 164 of the Public Health Act 1875, section 12 of the Open Spaces Act 1906 and sections 12 and 15 of the Open Spaces Act 1906 with regard to public walks, pleasure grounds and open spaces.
