Auctioneer F.W. Western & Co under instructions of A. J. Odell who is retiring. Comprises farmhouse, engine room, range of farm buildings and 144 acres of mainly market gardening land. Catalogue notes that the farm has been occupied by the present owner and his father for 80 years and is known as a 'High Class Market Garden of exceptionally fine quality'. Newspaper cutting from Biggleswade Chronicle & Bedfordshire Gazette affixed reporting the sale. It notes that the farm with 89 acres was withdrawn from sale and will be disposed of by private treaty; Tingey's Corner Field, for sale in 3 lots was purchased by Mr H. Godfrey and Mr A.J. Cope; 3 further allotments known as 'Across the fields' was purchased by Mr J. Webb. The other lots were withdrawn
