    Recites: Will of late Lord Holland [RH8/1] Indenture 6 June 1842 Whereas: doubts have arisen whether said Indenture of 6 June 1842 can be construed to have released the hereditaments thereby conveyed from the payment of the charge of £2,000 created by said codicil to said will and it was not the intention of the parties that the premises should so be released now: i) agrees with ii) to hold the premises conveyed to him by said Indenture 6 June 1842 subject to said £2,000 draft approved on behalf of Duke of Bedford by N Baseni, Lincolns Inn 27 Feb 1847 draft approved on behalf of Duke of Bedford, Wing and Twining 1 Mar 1847 approved by J H Christie 1 May 1847 Witnesses to signature of i): Christopher Haedy Joseph Bailey, Bedford Office, Bloomsbury Endorsed: This draft was subsequently settled by Mr Christie on behalf of both parties 14 May 1847 delivered by Mr Davidson’s Order directing Messrs Drummond to pay £2,000 to the order of the Duke of Bedford to Mr Haedy A.J.
