    Recites: will and codicil of Lord Holland 1838 [RH8/1-2] proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury 5 February 1841 whereas: ii) iii) iv) have concurred in the sale of the whole of the estates in Bedfordshire to v) for £145,000 whereas: such of the estates as were by codicil devised, subject to life interest of ii), to uses as iv) should appoint, have been valued at £33,000 to which sum iv) is entitled as his share of the purchase money subject to life estate of ii) and to one moiety of charge of £2,000 under said codicil, subject to deduction of charges whereas: to provide fund for payment on death of ii) of share of iv) in said purchase money and to provide for payment of said legacy of £2,000, the sum of £37,000 has been applied in obtaining transfers of certain mortgages to that amount of parts of estates of late Lord Holland in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire to i) now: it is agreed that i) shall stand seised of sums of £37,000 mentioned in schedule, on trusts: to use of ii) for life reminder – as to £33,000 out of purchase money when said £2,000 or interest for the same becomes payable, on trusts to raise one moiety of the same and pay the same to v) that it may be applied in satisfaction of one moiety of said £2,000 when it shall become payable; also to raise out of said £33,000 sum sufficient to pay costs of vendors; residue of said £33,000 in trusts for iv) - as £4,000 residue of said £37,000 when said £2,000 or interest for same becomes due, on trust to raise the amount of one moiety and pay the same to v) for satisfaction of the other moiety of said £2,000 residue of the same to be held in trust for iii) said £37,000 charged with said £2,000 by way of indemnity to v) Schedule of Indentures of Assignment and Release 31 August 1842 i) Thomas Boddington esquire, James Weston gentleman, George Capron gentleman ii) Henry Webster a lieutenant Colonel in Army and wife Grace née Boddington iii) Elizabeth Vassall Lady Holland, Henry Edward Lord Holland iv) Benjamin Currey, John Teesdale transfer of mortgage of estates in Brinkworth and Grittenham, Wiltshire for securing £10,000 23 September 1842 i.
