    Abstracting: Will of Henry Garner of Biggleswade, publican and gardener (see recital in Z 590/31), 4 May 1854, abstracted in greater detail here (personal estate bequeathed to wife described as all his household furniture, stock in trade, goods and chattels live and dead, plate, jewels, china, glass, and book debts) - bequest to his wife Ann Garner of all his growing crops with all his rights and privileges thereunto belonging for her sole use and absolute benefit - appointment of his wife Ann Garner as sole executrix - signed, sealed, published and declared in the presence of and attested by two witnesses. (marginal notes record that the original probate was produced at Mr Chapman’s office in Biggleswade, 4 Jan 1876 ‘Hooper & Co. per G A Lloyd’ and ‘sworn under £100’). Death of Henry Garner, 19 Dec 1857, and probate of his will (3 Nov 1858) in the Principal Probate Registry by Ann Garner, widow, relict and sole executrix. Will of Ann Garner (as part recited in Z 590/31); abstract here records that she appointed Elizabeth Norman sole executrix of her will and that the will was signed in the presence of and attested by two witnesses. Death of Ann Garner, 17 Apr 1868. Probate of her will in the Principal Probate Registry by Elizabeth Norman, 16 Jan 1869. (marginal note records that the probate was produced as above). Admission of Elizabeth Norman under 2 wills etc. as Z 590/31 to two cottages in Sun St. Biggleswade, devised to her in remainder by the wills of Henry Garner and Ann Garner, 29 Apr 1870. (marginal notes record that a steward’s copy of the Admission was produced ‘as on page 1’, i.e. as above, and ‘Ann Garner never admitted...so stated in admission of S Norman’).
