    i) Edmund Rolfe, junior, Heacham, Norfolk ii) Catherine Frances Biscoe iii) Maximilian Western Walter Strickland, Harley Street, Cavendish Square, Middlesex, esquire iv) Maximilian Western, junior, Cokethorpe, esquire Edmund Rolfe, Elsden Kings Lynn, Norfolk, esquire marriage is intended between i) and ii) i) has undermentioned property and leasehold property and capital sum of £1900 bank annuities and £3050 Bank of England stock and an Irish tontine annuity during her life on £500, which said annuity is hereby agreed to be transferred to benefit of ii) remainder transferred to iii) in trust - Biscoe’s Buildings - capital messuage at Goldington etc. - other property as in Bargain and Sale [SL1/284] in trust etc. as in deed - ground with brick messuages to N. of Kings Road, St.Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, leased for 103 years to John Blagrave, carpenter, now vested in ii) to be devised in trust to iii) for sale when so desired, as also with the bank annuities and stock for the purchase of property in England for the aforementioned trust with schedule of leases power to appoint new trustees signatures i), ii), iii) witnesses John Forster Patrick Drummond, junior 15 and 16 May 1792 registered 18 May 1792 With: Attested copy of appointment of a new trustee of the marriage settlement i) Edmund Rolfe, junior ii) Catherine Frances Rolfe, now wife of i) Walter Strickland having died, is agreed to appoint Sir Martin Browne Folkes, Hillingdon Hall, Norfolk, baronet, in his place witnesses Frederick Dowley James Clapp of Stanhoe 1 October 1793 With: Attested copy of assignment of property to new trustees i) Edmund Rolfe, junior, and wife Catherine Frances ii) Maximilian Western iii) Sir Martin Browne Folkes iv) John Forster, Lincoln’s Inn, Middlesex, esquire ii) with consent of i) has assigned to iv) - property limited to i) and Walter Strickland (as in marriage settlement) in trust to make over the premises to ii) and iii) also ii) with consent of i), has assigned to iv) - property in marriage settlement (i.e. that subject to a lease for 103 years) upon trust that iv) may as soon as conveniently possible, assign the premises to iii) and ii) signatures i), ii), iii) witnesses Frederick Dowley, Heacham James Clapp, Stanhoe William Thomas, butler Nathan Hayward, footman to Mr.Western George Hogg, Lynn, Norfolk William Anderson 29 October 1793 With: Attested copy of assignment John Forster, Lincoln’s Inn, Middlesex, esquire, has assigned to Sir Martin Browne Folkes and Maximilian Western - property limited to Maximilian Western and Walter Strickland for 600 years in marriage settlement etc. signatures both witnesses Robert Weldon Lee} Henry Bigley } clerks to Mr.Forster 30 October 1793 With: Attested copy of appointment of new trustees to marriage settlement Maximilian Western having lately died, Edmund Rolfe, junior and wife Catherine Frances have agreed to appoint Richard Graves Townley, Fulbourne, Cambridgeshire, esquire as trustee in conjunction with Sir Martin Browne Folkes, baronet doubts having arisen as to sufficiency of appointment of Sir Martin, Edmund and Catherine Frances Rolfe have agreed to re-appoint him so Richard Graves Townley and Sir Martin Browne Folkes appointed trustees witnesses James Sampson, servant to Mr.Rolfe Harvey Goodwin, junior, Lynn, Norfolk 15 November 1803 copy certified 18 April 1804 With: Attested copy of transfer i) Sir Martin Browne Folkes Richard Graves Townley ii) Edmund Rolfe and wife, Catherine Frances iii) George Frere, Lincoln’s Inn, Middlesex, gentleman £305 worth of 5% annuities and £228 15s Navy 5% annuities have been purchased in names of i) and Maximilian Western, deceased, from certain profits given on said £3050 capital bank stock Sir Martin Browne Folkes has also transferred the sums of £1900 3% reduced Bank annuities and £3005 capital bank stock now Sir Martin assigns to iii) - property limited to Maximilian Western and Walter Strickland for 600 years now vested in Sir Martin by survivorship, to intent that iii) may as soon as possible re-assign property to i) for residue of term in trust as mentioned in marriage settlement same with property now vested in Sir Martin alone for residue of 103 years declaration by i) that they have received and are now in possession of the bank annuities (as above) signatures Edmund Rolfe, Catherine Frances Rolfe, Martin Browne Folkes witnesses James Sampson, servant to Mr.Rolfe Harvey Goodwin, junior, Lynn, Norfolk John Baly, Hillington 16 November 1803 certified 19 April 1804 with attested copy of transfer George Frere transfer to Sir Martin Browne Folkes and Richard Graves Townley - farms etc. for residue of term of 600 years - ground for residue of term of 103 years upon trusts, as before witness John Hone, clerk to Forster, Cooke and Frere 17 November 1803 certified 13 April 1804
