    Recites indenture made between William Warwick and Martha Porter 31 May 1884 (see Z1391/1/2) and between William Warwick and 1) 27 April 1885 (see Z1391/1/3). The principal sum of £150 remains due but all interest has been paid. Subject to this mortgage, the hereditaments now rest with 1) for an estate of inheritance in fee simple. Conveyed from 1) to 2) for £150 but subject to the sum of £150 and the interest to be accrued from the previously recited mortgage indenture of 1885. 2) will at all times keep 1) indemnified from the payment of the said sum of £150 and the interest thereon and all claims and demands on account thereof. - piece of land in the parish of St Cuthbert, Bedford, on the east side of Bower Street. To the North – property now or late of Charles Jordan Crawley. To the East – property of Bedford School Board. To the West – Bower Street. To the South – property now or late of the Representatives of Richard Stennett. Property measures 22ft in width, 89ft in depth. There also stands erected on the said piece of land a messuage known as ‘Felmersham Cottage’ and numbered 153 Bower St. Witness – R. W. Thompson, Clerk to Messrs Conquest and Clare Solicitors of Bedford.
