    From the current day for as long as any principle money remains due under this mortgage, the interest will be subject to two yearly payments on 30 November and 31 May. - piece of land situated in the Parish of Saint Cuthbert, Bedford on the east side of a new road called Bower Street. To the North – property owned by Charles Jordan Crawley. To the South – property owned by Daniel William Lightfoot. To the West – Bower Street. Property measures 22ft in width, 89ft in depth, containing a newly erected tenement known as Felmersham Cottage. Owners and occupiers of premises on the street have free right to pass with or without horse carts and carriages at all times and to use the sewers. Conveyed from 1) to 2) to hold the same unto and to the use of 2) in fee simple. If the said sum of £150 with interest shall be paid according to the foregoing covenant the said premises shall at the request and cost of 1) his heirs or assigns be reconveyed to him or them. 1) promises to insure the buildings on his land against loss or damage by fire for at least £150 with the Northern Assurance Company or another company approved by 2). 1) is to produce the insurance policy and the receipts for insurance premium payments on their demand to 2). And it is declared that no lease made by 1) of the mortgaged premises or any part thereof during the continuance of this security shall have effect by force of virtue of section 18 of the 1881 Conveyancing and Law of Property Act unless 2) shall consent these in writing.
