    The Homage and the Jury: Reverend Charles Reed clerk Richard Cook of Stepingley George King of Wavendon recites: death of Daniel Shipton, copyhold tenant, leaving only surviving child Charlotte Shipton, afterwards wife of Robert Charles Orlebar. Daniel Shipton by will 4 January 1793 devised lands to wife Temperance for life, then to daughters Mary Constantia (who died in his lifetime) and said Charlotte. Temperance Shipton died 30 March 1807 recites V374 and V375; admission of Charlotte Orlebar 27 October 1819 to below mentioned lands and her death 17 December 1837 intestate, leaving Robert Shipton Orlebar her eldest son and customary heir. now: admission of Robert Shipton Orlebar to: -- Swallow Furlong 15 acres 2 roods -- Banlands 8 acres 2 roods -- part of Furze Close 2acres 1 rood 18 perches (see V377) Surrender by Robert Shipton Orlebar and Charlotte Elizabeth his wife to Sir Henry Hugh Hoare Baronet and admission of the latter.
