    Attested Copy of Marriage Settlement by Lease and Release. (i) Charlotte Shipton of Husborne Crawley, spinster (ii) Robert Charles Orlebar of St. John’s College in the University of Cambridge. (iii) William Lord of Drayton Parslow, Buckinghamshire D.D., William Monk of Holme, near Biggleswade, William Browning of Woburn Place, Russell Square Middlesex whereas: Charlotte Shipton has estate of inheritance in freehold mansion house and lands in Husborne Crawley, Wavendon and Aspley Guise and remainder of term in leasehold, created by V353 also entitled to £2,216 bank stock; £4,000 3% consolidated annuity is also possessed of various jewels, trinkets and ornaments of the person and toilet Charlotte Shipton has transferred to William Lord, William Monk and William Browning the bank stock and annuities on trusts hereinafter expressed NOW: Charlotte Shipton releases to William Lord, William Monk and William Browning -- mansion house called Crawley House with farm yard, coach house, stables etc. in Husborne Crawley, 2 acres 30 perches -- messuage called the Cottage House in Husborne Crawley and appurtenances and piece of land adjoining called Home Close 2acres 3 roods 16 perches -- parcel of land in Husborne Crawley, the Home Close lately received by Charlotte Shipton from the Duke of Bedford in exchange for certain lands of hers, containing 2 acres 3 roods 34 perches -- several small pieces of land being old enclosures belonging to said mansion house and lying south of a piece of land last described, also received from the Duke of Bedford in exchange -- small parcel of land, part of a larger piece containing 55 acres 1 rood 14 perches an allotment made to Charlotte Shipton under enclosure act, which said pieces contain together 3 acres 2 roods 8 perches -- 3 other pieces arable 25 acres 2 roods 30 perches -- parcel of land at the corner of the Home Close called the Plantation 17 perches -- parcel of land also called the Home Close and the garden 5 acres 3 roods 25 perches all which capital messuage and premises contain together 43 acres in Husborne Crawley in the occupation of Charlotte Shipton -- farmhouse and homestead, yard and garden belonging in Husborne Crawley 3 roods -- parcel of land part of aforesaid allotment of 55 acres 1 rood 14 perches containing 28 acres 3 roods 24 perches -- 2 parcels of land lying west of Aspley Road also being an allotment made to Charlotte Shipton and containg 17 acres 6 perches -- parcel of land lying north of the Brogborough Road also an allotment to Charlotte Shipton containing 19 acres 3 roods 16 perches premises last described containing together 66 acres 2 roods 6 perches in Husborne Crawley in the occupation of --- Page -- Burroughs Piece, parcel of arable 5 acres 6 perches -- 2 parcels of land lying together called Fulbrooke 9 acres 4 perches -- parcel of land called the Spring or Top Close lying next the Fir Plantation 4 acres 20 perches -- Stepington Hill with barns, stables and cowhouses thereon 10 acres -- Stepington Meadow 4 acres premises last described contain together 32 acres 30 perches in { Aspley, in the occupation of Michael Hutton -- Swallow Furlong 15 acres 2 roods -- Banlands, parcel of arable, 8 acres 2 roods -- Furze Close, parcel of arable, 3 acres -- parcel of land called Furze Close, 3 acres 21 perches last 4 parcels contain 30 acres 12 perches in Wavendon, Buckinghamshire, in the occupation of said Michael Hutton further:: -- public house in Aspley Guise, known as the New Inn, with appurtenances -- orchard and home close adjoining said messuage all which premises contain 5 acres 2 roods 23 perches (recites V353) further: -- all her diamonds, pearls, Jewels, Watches, Rings, Trinkets and ornaments on trusts . . . . Endorsed: Lease and Release of Appointment. 21 and 22 February 1826 (i) Robert Charles Orlebar and wife Charlotte (ii) William Browning (iii) Orlando Orlebar of Walcot Place, Lambeth, Surrey, William Augustus Orlebar of Charlotte Street Bedford Square Middlesex (iv) John Richard Orlebar of Crawley, Bedfordshire by a bonus the bank stock has increased to £2,770 this and the £4,000 3% consolidated annuity transferred to joint names of William Browning, Orlando Orlebar and William Augustus Orlebar further: William Browning releases to John Richard Orlebar premises conveyed by within Indenture on trust to convey to William Browning, Orlando Orlebar and William Augustus Orlebar; also premises demised by V353 and assigned by within Indenture.
