(i) Richard How of Aspley Guise, gentleman and wife Silena Briggins How of Woburn, gentleman and wife Sarah (ii) John Bennell of Ampthill, baker recites: V237 said Hannahbella Marshall is now dead whereupon said Richard How and Briggins How became entitled to said lands now: (i) will levy fine to (ii) -- moiety of said messuages and lands as Richard How and wife Silena shall appoint -- moiety as Briggins How and wife Sarah shall appoint. Witnesses: John Paddon, Samuel Davis. 16 March 1774. Extract examined by Robert Swindall and William Emerton, clerks to Mr. Davis. 7 April 1774.
