Roycroft's purchase from Luke. Letter: (i) Samuel Luke (ii) Mr Roycroft in the Six Clerks Office, Chancery Lane. Extract from will of Richard Lee, gentleman, 14 February 1707/08. Bequest to son Robert of farm at Honidon, Eaton Socon and all lands etc now in occupation of John Bruce and cottage let with said farm. A note that testator died September 1708. Extract from indenture, 19 December 1710, mortgage from Robert Lee to Thomas Lenton, yeoman [see WG 143]: farmhouse in Honydon in Eaton Socon in the occupation of John Bruce and all land etc belonging for term of 500 years peppercorn rent repayment £100 plus interest on 20 June 1711. A note that mortgage was paid off and cancelled.
