    -- messuage and close of 8 acres in Shefford Hardwick in testaor’s occupation with malthouse and other appurtenances purchased by late father Tayler of Mr. Goldsmith (the ground was purchased of him and the messuage was built thereon afterwards) -- messuages with appurtenances in Southill, freehold and copyhold in the occupations of William Harding, William Bowman and William Collups -- 2 acres meadow, Carlick Dam, in Stanford Meadow in Southill in testator’s occupation -- 2 acres arable in Hoo Field in Clifton in the occupation of William Pateman to wife Elizabeth Tayler for life, then to nephew Nathaniel Taylor son of late brother James Taylor, deceased subject to 40 shillings annuity to sister-in-law Deborah Fossey widow for life. £10 to said Deborah Fossey £10 to her daughter Joan £100 to said nephew Nathaniel Tayler £20 to cousin Nathaniel Costin son of Nathaniel Costin of Eaton Socon £50 to cousin Elizabeth Fossey daughter of William Fossey late of Chalgrave, deceased £20 to sister Martha Tayler spinster cousin William Fowler of Stanford owes testator £50 principal on bond; gives this to William Fowler in trust to pay his son Nathaniel Fowler £20 thereof; to his son William Fowler £10 thereof and to his daughters Susannah Fowler and Ann Fowler £10 each at respective ages of 21 executrix to deliver bond to William Fowler; she is not to be chargeable to his children for payment residue to wife sole executrix. Witnesses: Elizabeth Hawkins, Francis Carter, Samuel Luke. endorsed: there is an office copy on paper of this will which is along with the writings of the estate in Stanford etc. as no part of this will regards Clifton estate. also endorsed: for Mr. Beaumont
