    (i) Margaret Rudd, late of Biggleswade, now of Ampthill, widow of Edward Rudd, late of Biggleswade, gentleman, deceased, grandson and heir and devisee in fee named in the will of Edward Rudd, late of Biggleswade, long since dead. (ii) Richard Edmund Rudd of Harcourt Buildings, Inner Temple, eldest son of Edward the grandson. (iii) John Winn of Biggleswade, farmer. Recites: 31 August 1769: Prenuptial Settlement: (1) Edward the grandson (2) Margaret Rudd, as Margaret Miles of the town and county of Worcester, spinster (3) Mathew Duane esq. and Richard Rudd, gentleman; marriage of (1) and (2). Agreement to surrender in trust to secure payment of annuity of £100. -- --- All his messuages lands etc. held by copy of the manor of Biggleswade. That the Surrender was not made, foregoing, CD171. --- ---A piece of arable in Town Field (6 acres 3 perch exclusive of the road crossing the same) called Christy Piece or Stanley's Piece, the lane leading from a lane called Races lane across the Turnpike Road towards Potton going across the same, a road leading from the Sun Inn in Biggleswade towards Potton on part of North, John Barber, East, John Winn and John Bricheno, South. the Turnpike road and the cottage and garden of William Rands, West. All Copyhold of the manor. Free of land tax and of the aforesaid annuity. (see CD162, last par).
