    - - 2 closes pasture called Great Ridlands next land of Peter Edwardes south and close pasture now or late of Richard Cook west, one heretofore in tenancy of Richard Morton or assignees, the other occupied by Thos Perkins, undertenants or assignees, both late in tenancy or occupation of Bray Chamberlin or assignees (approx. 30 acres); - - a grove or woodland to said close adjoining and belonging (approx. 3 acres); - - 2 other closes pasture with appurtanences called Ridlands south of messuage or tenement late occupied by said Bray Chamberlin or assignees called Leigh Lodge; - - Pightles of pasture with grove adjoining (with preceding appox. 40 acres.) , with preceding formerly in tenancy or occupation of John and Richard Mowse or assignees or undertenants, late of Bray in (i) or assignees; -- a cottage or tenement with appurtanences now or late occupied by George Hartwell or assignees; All part of the Manor of Rutlands, alias Ridlands, alias Rudlands, alias Rudland Fields, in parish of Cranfield, and purchased by Bray in (i) of the Rt. Honble. Jerome, Earl of Portland; - - all other lands, tenements,. etc. recited in 5 July 1653: Mortgage: 1000 yrs.: £600 and interest. (i) Edmund Chamberlin, late of Sutton Audley, Oxon., esq. and Bray in (i) above (ii) Timothy Middleton, late of Stansted Mountfitchett, Essex, esq. (since deceased.) his executors, administrators and assignees; -- All other lands, tenements etc. of (i) herein or either of them, in possession, reversion or remainder in Cranfield, and all edifices, etc. etc., commodities and appurtanences appertaining to or known as part of any of the said cottage etc., and all right or interest of them therein, and all deeds etc. concerning any part of them now or later in their possession, without suit in the law, and 3 copies of all other writings concerning them jointly with other messuages, etc., to be made at charge of Thomas Bromfield, his heirs, or assignees; IN TRUST for Thomas Bromfield, his heirs or assignees, and to be disposed of as they may direct. COVENANT BY (i) as to full title to convey and for peaceable possession by Thomas Bromfield, his heirs and assignees, without any demand by (i) or any person lawfully claiming under them, except as in the mortgage recited; ALSO to levy a Fine during the next Trinity term in such form as reasonably required by Thomas Whincopp and John Parrey or their Counsel learned in the law, of the said premises or any part thereof; COVENANT by (i) and (ii) for themselves, their heirs and assignees that the said fine and all other fines, recoveries, conveyances, etc. already executed or be executed of the said premises or any part thereof by (i) or (ii) or any of them shall be so construed that the counsees (sic) named therein shall stand seized thereof to the USE of the said Thomas Whincopp and John Parrey in TRUST as set forth above.
