    i) Thomas Smith of Newton Blossomville, Bucks. gent., Robert Warner of Felmersham, gent., James Backhouse of St. Andrew, Holborn, Middlesex, gent ii) Jeffery Fisher of Irchester (Archester or Irechester), Northants, gent., - recites: V41 (will and probate of Catherine Rands; provision in bequest 9 for sale of manor) 10 years have elapsed since death of testatrix; Oliver Rands is now dead; no claim has been made by Edward Rands. Consideration: £1,560. -manor or reputed manor of Radwell -manor house in Radwell formerly in occupation of Oliver Rands, afterwards of William Jenkins, since for many years in occupation of Thomas Barnes [see V21] and now John Barnes -55 acres arable and ley in Radwell and Felmersham, formerly in occupation of William Jenkins [etc as above] -parcel of meadow in Radwell, the Holm, 14 acres near manor house, formerly in occupation William Jenkins [etc as above] -2 closes, Upper Pilcrofts and Neither Pilcrofts in Radwell, 24 acres formerly in occupation William Jenkins [etc. as above] -close of pasture, Neither Hoo, in Radwell, contiguous to manor house, with spinney adjacent 12 acres in occupation of Robert Tap -spung or passage leading to close called the [Nether] Hoo -cottage in Radwell formerly in occupation of Edward Crouch, since of John Adkins, now of John Barnes -dole of meadow 1½ in Short Dunstans End in Radwell -little pightle or close of pasture lying between Radwell and Moor End in Felmersham -free fishing in River Ouse all formerly the estate of Oliver Rands of Radwell, gent. deceased and on his death came to Catherine Rands and one Mary Ventris her sister as cousins and heirs at law of said Oliver Rands and were by Fine and Indenture [V17 & 18] settled half to the use of the said Catherine Rands for ever and half to the use of said Henry Ventris and wife Mary for their lives and the survivor of them, (both are since dead) and then to Catherine Rands. witnesses: Henry Williams, John Ekins, Francis Mason, Henry Horton
