    "Who saith that he had a coffer having in it a Bed quilt a Feather Pillow, a pair of Sheets, a White Gown, 5 plated Tea Spoons a Tea Caddy, a Hat and four Razors and several other articles which he had put under the care of Mrs Fensom the wife of Richard Fensom of Chalton which she placed under lock and key and kept in an outhouse adjoining the House of Mr Richard Fensom in Chalton aforesaid. That on Monday the 15th day of November instant he found that the outhouse had been entered and the Coffer broken open and all the articles taken away except a Tea Tray and a testament. That he has since found the Tea Caddy and Hat in the possession of John Tilcock of Toddington aforesaid on the 20th November instant, who said he had bought them of John Pateman of Toddington aforesaid, That he taken the Hat away and that the Hat he now produces is the same Hat he found in John Tilcocks possession, And that it is the same he this Informant lost out of the coffer and That a Tea Caddy now produced by John Tilcock is not the same he saw in his possession on the 20th November instant" Signed by the mark of Samuel Saunders.
