In 1754 by sd.Willaume decd. from Sarah Falls widow & Peter Burges, yeo-man (survg.trustees of Will of Allen) A messauge in Milbroook now Widow Wheeler. An Orchard called Palm Cl., Gt. Temples Cl., Reedlands Cl., & Hill Cl. (46 a.), late in occ. of Thos.Pulley, then Baumont, now Wheeler. And all other lands,etc. [no details] purchd. By said Willaume for Thos. & Kath.Day in Milbrook, which were laet of Edmd.Fowkes decd. A messauge in Milbrook wherein John Brwon formerly dwelt, since in occ. of Matth. Woolhead, late, Beaumont, now Wheeler; a piece of land adjg. on which a pair of watermills lately stood; also the millpond, togr. with The Mill Baulk adjg. Two closes in milbrook called Dovenhouse Cl. (5a.) & Mill Close (11a.); a piece of pasture called. The Slade (1a.) adjg., bet. Marston Field W., & a cottage late in occ. of Sam.odell, now Wheeler, N., the land late of Edmd.Pope gent, decd., S., Pease Closes E. Two closes called Pease Closes (13 a.) in Milbrook, with 2 groves adjg. (1¾a.). A cottage wherein Anth.Spire decd. dwelt in Marston, late in occ. of Wm Bosworth, now Wheeler; & 2 little closes (2a.) adjg.; ½ a. in Dudmore Meadow in Marston; & all lands [no details] purchd. Bu Willaume from sd. Thos.Head in Millbrook & Marston. A fee-farm rent of £2 from the said lands in M.& M. A messauge with 17a. & 40a. were divided into: the Meadow Ground (11a.), Round Acres (3a.), a piece (10a.), the Six Acres (6a.), the Leys (4a.), Chalk Hill (3a.) Little Plowed Cl. (3a.), Lower Hove Cl. (5a.), Upper H.Cl. (5a.), & Slip & Home (5a.). The tithes of the sd.messauge & lands; all part of the Manor of Pulloxhill in the par. of Pulloxhill, & now are in occ. of Wm.Collier; & were purchd. in 1756 by Willuame form Ann Smalridge clerk, & Rob.Blanch. All which property late be-longed to sd. David Willaume decd., & now belongs to Sd.Edw.Willaume. [Arml.seal of Edw.Willaume].
