Admin/biog history
Adrian Heffernan was of Irish heritage, but born in Salisbury. He moved to London at the age of 16 and became a train driver. He moved to Linslade in about 1979. He went on to become a Labour Bedfordshire County Councillor, a magistrate and Chair of the Police Authority. He was also an enthusiastic football referee in Bedfordshire. He loved tennis and music. He and his wife, Tricia had three children.
Archival history
The keepsake was created by Lyndsey Conquest – Celebrant Services 2023. It was delivered Thursday 2nd February 2023 at Bierton Crematorium. Submitted to Bedfordshire Archives on 14 October 2024 by Adrian Heffernan's widow, Patricia.
