John Hatton Rolt Orlebar was born on 19th February 1907 in Northamptonshire. He served during the First World War and became a Lt. Col to the 1st Battalion Royal Norfolk Regiment. He married Nellie Crowe in 1937 in Bedford, together they had a son, Christopher John Dugmore Orlebar. John died on 1st July 1989 on the Isle of Wight.
