    John Skilman Gray says; I am a baker & reside at 19 Princess Street Luton. On Monday 31st October 1910 about half past two I was serving my customer on my round in Rothesay Rooad, on of my customers lives at no 12 , I went down the passge & down the area at the back of no 12 to the back door. I could make no one hear. I tried the door & found it was fastened. The prisoner was stanfing by the door. He said is the missus in, I replied , no. I then went up the area . The prisoner went out in front of me. When we got into the street I got into my cart & I saw the prisoner go down the area in the front of no 10. I have never seen him beofre. I am sure prisoner is the man. The prisoner addressing the witness said, it is truw what you said to me down the area, but we went out together. Signed John Skilman Gray
