- Scope and ContentEmily Morris says; I am the wife of Walter Morris the landlord of the Railway Inn Luton. On Monday 31st October 1910 about 3 o'clock in the afernoon the prisoner was in the public bar. He offered to sell me the clock, produced. I refused and he then sold it to the last witness for 18 pence. The next day I was passing Mr Coopers shop and saw the clock, produced, in his window I went in and bought it for 2 shillings. I gave it to the police on 2nd November 1910 when Detective Attwood came to me about it. Signed Emily Morris
