- Scope and ContentIndictment Thomas James Goodman The Jurors for our Lord King upon their oath present that Thomas James Goodman on the thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen was servant to Henry Hilton Green and that the said Thomas James Goodman whilst he was such servant as aforesaid to wit on the day and year aforesaid four sacks of beans of and belonging the said Henry Hilton Green his master feloniously did steal take and carry away against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided. Second Count And the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do further present that the said Thomas James Goodman afterwards and within six calendar months from the time of the committing of the said Offence in the first count of this Indictment mentioned to wit on the twenty fourth day of April in the year aforesaid was servant to the said Henry Hilton Green and that the said Thomas James Goodman whilst he was such servant as aforesaid to wit on the day and year last aforesaid one sack of rivet wheat and one sack of wheat of and belonging to the said Henry Hilton Green his Master feloniously did steal take and carry away against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the Peace of our Lord the King his Crown and Dignity Plea: Not Guilty.
