- TitleThe Deposistion of Benjamin Belgrove Franklin of Luton in the County of Bedford, Surveyor, taken and made before Andrew Carruthers and Edwin Oakley two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County, acting in and for the said County in and for the Petty Sessional Division of Luton within which the Parish of Limbury hereinafter mentioned is situated at the Magistrates Court Luton aforesaid this 19th day of September 1910 upon the matter of the stopping up and diversion of a certain footpath or public highway situate within the Parish of Limbury leading from the village in a south easterly direction to the main road running from Limbury to Luton which we the said Justices viewed on 13th July last.

- Scope and ContentB B Franklin upon his oath saith:- I produced the Plan hereunto annexed marked "A" and signed by me which described the present footpath or public highway situated in the Parish of Limbury a part whereof is intended to be stopped up and diverted and the lands through which the proposed footpath is intendedto be made and also the proposed diverson. I prepared the same plan and the metes bounds and admeasurements marked thereon are correct. I also produced a duplicate notice marked "G" signed by me and directed to the Clerk to the Rural District Council of Luton. I produced athe certified copies mark "H" of the minutes of meetings held on 16th July and 17th September 1909 of the Parish of Limbury. I also produced a Statutory declaration of William Austin, the clerk to Luton Rural Council, marked "I" rectifing the minutes of a meeting of the Luton Rural District Council held on 18th September 1910 consenting to the stopping and diversion.I produced a consent marked "J" of Edward and Stanley Blundell, a consent marked"K" of Francis Crawley, a duplicate notice marked "L"signed by me as Surveyor to the Luton Rural District Council, a statutory declaration of John Arthur Plummer marked "B" with exhibits marked"M" which states that the notices were affixed and entered in to the newspaper and affixed to the church doors all as requested. The deposition of B B Franklin was taken and sworn before us at Luton aforesaid 19th September 1910 signed B.B Franklin. Arthur Carruthers, Edwin Oakley, Justices of the Peace
