Postcard format group photograph of 29 women and girls. The focus of the group appears to be a more mature woman in the front suggesting that she may be a teacher or supervisor to the group. Many of the young woman are wearing smocks suggesting that they are dressed for work and two of the girls wear a pair of scissors around their neck. One girl holds a hat brim but it is unclear whether this is a part made hat or a crownless hat.
