Terriers, enrolled

These two volumes containing enrolled copies of glebe terriers and other muniments of title relating to church and charity property in parishes in the Archdeaconry of Bedford were compiled at the cost of Dr Thomas Frank, Archdeacon from 1704 to 1731. In addition to the terriers etc these volumes contain a few notes on later alterations to parsonage houses etc (e.g. Blunham, 1749). There is an index at the back of volume 1. Some of the original terriers from which the enrolled copies were made survive among the loose terriers (ABE1).
