The 1607 terriers were made under a canor of 1604, and a contemporary list of the terriers is in the final bundle of the series. The 1693 terriers were returned at the Episcopal Visitation in that year. Copies of most of the terriers in the period 1706 to 1716 were enrolled in the two volumes compiled at the cost of Dr Thomas Frank, Archdeacon of Bedford from 1704 to 1731.
